Faith In Action
This is Providence Presbyterian Church's way of showing the Parker community that they matter to us and therefore matter to God.
We design a month of worship service around the idea of servicing the community and then culminate with several Sunday morning
service projects within our community. These vary from year to year. Listed below are 2011 service projects.
- Adopt-a-street clean up
- Military Kits to the US armed services community overseas
- C.A.R.E. kits - first aid kits to school aged children in 3rd world countries
- Painting the Parker Task Force Food Pantry
- Baking team baked cookies for Military Kits and Parker area services that work on Sundays
- Homemade cards for Military kits and area seniors
- Sing-a long at area nursing home
Providence has a Golden Harvest Dinner and Auction each Fall to help support our mission involvement.
